Pittsburgh (WJAC) — With less than an hour to go before the 2023 MLB trade deadline, multiple reports indicate that the Pittsburgh Pirates are trading veteran catcher Austin Hedges to the Texas Rangers.
Hedges signed a one-year deal with the Pirates in the offseason.
He has played in 65 games this year for Pittsburgh, recording 29 hits, one homerun and 14 RBIs, along with a batting average of .180.
