Pittsburgh (WPXI) — Officials say a toddler was killed and eight other people were injured after a house fire in Pennsylvania’s Shaler Township Friday night.
First responders were called to the home just before 10 p.m.
Inside the residence, officials say firefighters found a 2 year-old girl on the first floor.
She was taken to the hospital and later pronounced dead.
Four other people in the home managed to escape the blaze and were taken to the hospital.

Johnstown, PA (WJAC) — Johnstown police say they are still searching for the suspect accused of shooting a woman, who then crashed her car, in Dale Borough last week.
Authorities say Tyree Carter is alleged to have shot the woman on the night of January 29th, following a confrontation in the area of David Street.
Police say surveillance video reportedly showed Carter approach the victim's vehicle and begin to damage it.

Johnstown, PA (WJAC) — 6 News has learned new information on a Johnstown police captain who is facing felony theft and deception charges as it now appears that he may have most of those charges dropped in some sort of deal with prosecutors.
Cambria County authorities say this is the first time that Captain Michael Plunkard faced such charges.
