2 Penn State frats lose recognition, university says

UNIVERSITY PARK — Two Penn State University fraternities lost their recognition on Saturday after what the university called "several violations of university rules." Delta Upsilon lost its recognition until the end of the spring semester, and Lambda Phi lost its recognition until the end of the 2019 spring semester. (AP) — Authorities say an argument over a basketball foul that started inside a suburban Philadelphia fitness center ended when one man shot and killed the other outside in self-defense. KENT, Wash. (KOMO) — Police in Kent, Washington said a man was shot and killed Thursday afternoon after a dispute at a cemetery. Aerial video showed several officers at the site, located at 957 W. Maple Street, the same address for Hillcrest Burial Park. Officers found an unresponsive man with gunshot wounds and started life-saving efforts, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
