
JOHNSTOWN, Pa (WJAC) — The National Club Baseball Association (NCBA) will be returning to Johnstown this spring for the Division III World Series, according to a release from visitjohnstownpa.com.
Sargent's Stadium at the Point will host the championship tournament for the second consecutive year.
The event is scheduled for May 15-17, and will include the four best teams for the NCBA district tournaments.
Over 300 fans, players and coaches are expected to attend the three-day event.
In 2019, teams from Eastern Michigan University, Lander University, Millersville University and Missouri University of Science and Technology competed in the Division III World Series, with Millersville claiming the title.
According to the release, Visit Johnstown and officials with the city collaborated to have the tournament return this year.
