Clearfield Co., PA (WJAC) — Clearfield County coroner Kim Shaffer-Snyder has confirmed new details regarding the investigation into a dead body that was found in a wooded area near Interstate 80 earlier this week.
Shaffer-Snyder says that an autopsy has been completed and the cause of death is still pending.
She notes that while an identity has not been released, authorities have determined that the body is that of a 25 to 30-year-old white female.
State police add that the woman is approximately 5 feet, 2 inches tall and weighed approximately 105 pounds, with dark hair and blue eyes.
Troopers say that she was reportedly wearing grey leggings and a white Mickey Mouse T-shirt.
Investigators also noted that she has two tattoos; one is located on her right shoulder area and reads “La vita e bella," while the other is located on the middle of her back and says "Faith."
Police say the woman's body was discovered by a construction worker Tuesday morning in an area between Hoopup Road and the I-80 westbound 123 off-ramp.
Troopers are asking anyone who may have traveled through the area between Saturday, April 29th and Tuesday, May 2nd to contact PSP Clearfield at 814-857-3800.

State police in Clearfield have launched an investigation after troopers say a construction worker discovered a dead body Tuesday morning in a wooded area along Interstate 80.
Investigators say the body was discovered just before 10:30 a.m. in an area between Hoopup Road and I-80 westbound, near the 123 off-ramp.
Troopers say details are limited at this time and officials are working to identify the body.
